Gary Prybylski Jr. - Eagle Scout Project

Project Description

South Street School Courtyard Garden Beautification

This project raised the memory plaques that were buried under the brush, planted hydrangeas trees and scrubs, rose trees and day lily flowers.  Butterfly Shrubs were planted into raised beds with cedar tongue and grove enclosures painted to match the building’s red bricks.  The grounds were cleared and covered with landscape fabric and tons of mulch.  And the city removed overgrown trees.

Completing this project achieved Gary’s plans for “Beauty” at the entranceway to his former elementary school and the place where he began his scouting career in first grade.
